Autism

1 in 68 children present with Autism which is a growing and alarming statistic. Autism is a disorder which affects a child’s social interaction, communication and behaviour. Speech Therapy for children with Autism begins as early as 18 months of age. Early Intervention is the essential to help a child improve their speech, language and communication.

Adult Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy helps to improve speech, voice, fluency, language and overall communication with Adults who present with the following:
- Stokes and head injuries
- Cancer of the throat
- Neurological diseases e.g. Parkinson’s, Muscular Dystrophy, Myasthenia Gravis
- Bells Palsy/ Facial Nerve Palsy
- Adult Stuttering and Dysfluency
- Vocal hoarseness/ harshness
